Anna could sense someone was holding her hands and she roused from sleep feeling like she had a nightmare from the previous night and her throat still felt like sandpaper.

Anna Christ you are awake.

Her eyes zeroed on the source of the voice and focused on Venice her lifeline she tried to get some words out but her mouth wouldn't cooperate.

It's okay don't stress it here I got you he offered her a glass of water but her hands were too shaky to hold it herself.

Her whole body heated up at their position she wanted him to stay but not like like this she won't be able to sleep when her back was tucked under the strong walls of his arms and his hands were on her waist.
