Since her years of working in the hotel she had developed a knack for knowing an important customers that were ridiculously rich from the normal ones because truthfully their price was so high that not all wealthy individuals could actually afford it.

Yes sir let me check the available ones will your girlfriend stay with you or do I search for separate room?

Oh Anna flushed immediately at the question umm we are not I mean he is not my boyfriend he is my boss.

A room is enough Venice said instead.

I am sorry for the assumption and it will take a little time they really looked good together she thought to herself.

Venice brushed of her apologies and looked around the premises. The hotel came highly recommended and one thing he appreciated was people were not crowded in the lobby and their decor was mild and welcoming. Surveying the place more his eyes zeroed on a group of men ogling at an oblivious Anna who was enchanted by a school of little fishes in a jar. His fingers itched to goggle out their eyes from the socket hands in his pocket he stared at Anna to calm himself and she noticed his aura had changed.

Venice what's wrong?

Silently she walked away from their view and stood in a way that Venice's body was covering profile still not satisfied he removed his suit jacket and placed it over her shoulders slowly taking his sweet time using the opportunity he stared back at the men warning them off by marking his territory showing his fangs. They quickly looked away chilled at what the scary men.

Venice what is the problem Anna whispered in his ears.

Excuse me the room is ready and it is quite secluded from the rest but I assure you won't regret spending the night with us.

That's perfect thanks Anna let's go after the key room have been collected by venice he suddenly stopped and turned back to the receptionist one more thing .

I want that he pointed at the jar of fishes.

Astonished at his request she stuttered for a moment. Sir sorry it's not for sale it's the hotel's property.

After a call and a swipe of his card the jar of fishes was carried to their room by a surprised anna who wasn't aware of what had transpired between Venice and the hotel management.

Nodding she gently unpacked her bags and collected things she needed she silently made her way to the showeroom afraid any noise generated by her will irritate him. She looked around the unfamiliar walls of the showeroom and missed her room. she took longer time than was necessary and thought about the night. What if she did something stupid? thankfully she had the sense to step in the showeroom with her pyjammies how could she have changed while in the same room with him. Hoping she will survive the night stepped back into the room to find Venice busy working in his laptop. He worked so hard she thought her heart swelling with pride and respect for him.

Venice felt eyes at the back of his head turned and stared back at her. Why did she have to be dizzyingly beautiful her hair was free from their previous bun and damp from the shower and she had changed into a flimsy material he was certain was silk her face shone bright and clear under the truscent light and damn it her floral scent filled the whole room hell was she purposely doing this to him.

Ummm uncomfortable with his eyes she searched her brain to say something. I am done you can go in now she said hoping he wouldn't notice her panties that she had discreetly spread to dry.

I know you don't have to tell me I have eyes he replied.

She was used to his scathing remarks but still worried that he was really annoyed with her. what was he mad at her for this time she asked herself. Sighing loudly Anna applied body lotion on her body sat down in an armchair with her jar of fish. It seemed so happy flying around though it was not in his or her real home. you are a he right? hey I am your owner and this is the first time I have a pet but I promise to take care of you and I have to give you a name right.

This was the sight Venice returned to hey what are you doing why are you speaking to yourself?

She turned to him and was confronted by his bare glistening chest she quickly faced her fish they were safer to look at.

I was getting to know my pet.

He didn't reply to her but secretly patted himself at the back for getting her the fish he hadn't realized she was so bored just then there was a gentle knock on the door.

I will get it Anna said rising from her position.

Sit down let me do it he took his time before walking to the door and was greeted by a bell boy hands filled with food he tipped him and clicked the door shut .

I will set the table she said desperately wishing he wouldn't stop her from doing that thankfully he didn't and in no time they had their dinner in a comfortable silence.

I am so full thanks Venice it was delicious.

He piled more vegetables in her empty plate eat those so you won't get sick because of the change in environment.

Venice I am fine I won't get sick.

His lips thinned like a line he scooped a spoonful and brought it to her mouth.

Uh you don't have to do that Venice.

Don't keep me waiting eat it.

Begrudgingly opening her mouth the vegetables were shoved in her mouth. He continued feeding her spoon after spoon till she finished the food.

Unable to meet his gaze now she kept them on the floor.

Go sleep we have a long day tomorrow.

Good night thank you for fe feeding me there was only one single bed in the room she made her way to the couch.

I will take the the couch sleep on the bed it's more comfortable.

But's that's unfair the couch will hardly contain your body frame sleep on the bed I will be comfortable here it's the perfect size for me.

It's not debatable sleep on the bed.

No I refuse to allow you to wake up with bodily pain why are you being stubborn?

Okay I will sleep on the bed but you will take the duvet.

Deal he agreed knowing that there was an extra duvet so she wouldn't have to sleep without one. He switched off the light and watched her settle on the bed.

Satisfied she was okay and seeing her almost asleep he gently tucked the duvet securely around her.
