Venice placed a call and rubbed his tired eyes there was a lot of things he needed to handle in his company even ones they require his presence but he couldn't do nothing about them. The last thing he would do is to leave Anna all to herself for long hours. it was better this way working from home till he figured something out. She needs attention no monitoring and for all he knew she is liable to abscond once he was out of sight. He didn't want that scenario he promised to help her and he will do just that help her get back on her dainty feet he thought remembering the feel of them from that night he had massaged them.

He made his way to the kitchen placing the phone on his left ear the other hand went for the cup of coffee that was always placed there every morning with a sketchy good morning note it has become a routine for her since that first time she made one for him. Grateful he drank deeply from the mug wishing it didn't taste so good and hoping he wouldn't get used to it.

Bye he wondered if he could get an early nap before preparing for the online meeting he had or just get started on it when his phone rang the caller had his eyes twitch. He could count the number of times he had talked with his mom now from lack of trying on his own part but a guy's patience has a certain limit most times he had called his mom either his call was ignored and never returned or when picked his question was received with cold monosyllable replies then he had stopped trying entirely he loved his mom and brother very much but he won't impose that love on them. it was entirely their choice if they accepted it or not.

Damn the boy straight to hell and to think he had the gall to think about it. she had expected him to jump out rightly at the thought of coming back to legacy. How conceited he had become thankful she had cut him off on his little speech of buying shares. Once he was done pulling the company up she would kick him out just like she had done before and this time she would make sure the blow was harder and the i***t of her son Henry will never liquidate the account again.
