Chapter 9

Beta Ray pov

I was heading back to the pack house to check up on alpha Jey, I knew his leg was shredded, and the doctor said he had to take the leg, I was hoping that wouldn't happen, i was not ready to be an alpha, i don’t want to be an alpha, I was fine just being a beta, Walking into the room I saw his leg wide open as the girl Jenni worked on him. I stopped for a second, then walked over to Jey, asking him how he was feeling,”

‘Besides my leg being wide open for the world to see, I am doing just fine,” So, tell me what's going on, is Damon gone? did he run just like the others?

‘Yes he ran off as soon as more of our warriors came out to help, I don't think he will be back any time soon and neither Peter, the s**t head took off once he realized he wasn't winning, We heard Jenni mumbling,

‘Damn wolfs always fighting over nothing or wanting something they can't have,” She was listening to us while she was working his the alphas leg, she was beautiful and funny, i liked that, I knew she was alpha Reys mate, i would never act on my feelings, i rather keep my legs on my body, We went back to talking for a few minutes,

“How are the warriors holding up, is Doctor Grit treating them?” I shook my head than said to him,

“He’s putting alcohol on the wounds, he says the wounds are not that deep so it doesn't need to be sewn up, but than he said there are too many with deep cuts, it will take to long so sew up by the time he does their wolves would have healed them,”

‘Don't you have omgeas that can sew? they can sew clothes, am i correct, then they can sew up the warriors,”

“Yes, We have omgeas that can sew, but they never worked on people before,”

“I'm sure they can learn. They can watch and learn.” i was liking the girl even more she is feisty,

‘Go get the omgeas if they can sew clothes they can sew the warriors” looking down at Alpha Jey, asking him if he was sure about this, He nodded than said yes, than I left the room to go get them, this was just crazy omgeas working on the warriors, i hope this works out,

Alpha Rey pov

After Jay left I began to talk to Jenni again, I needed to know if she understood that we were mates, does she know about the mate bond, I wasn't really sure, So I asked her,

‘Jenni, you do realize we are mates, right?” she stopped working on my leg for a second, then started back up again,

“Yeah I know, You can reject me if you want, After your leg is healed, i will be heading back to the human part so i can continue my studies so i can graduate,”

“I mindlinked Jay and told him after he brought the omgeas here, he needs to go find her car and bring it back here, he mindlinked me back and said okay, than i shut the link off,

‘You won’t be leaving, you will be staying here, there are too many rogues out there, once they find out that you are a lone wolf they will hunt you done,”

“I never had problems with that before, no one even knows im there, So,like i said, im leaving after your leg is healed,” She's a stubborn woman i can see that much,

“You can do online courses here, and I can bring in other doctors to test you, you can not leave, When my leg heals, i have something for you to read as well, i know your not used to this whole pack life, but im sorry, You will be staying here,”

she mumbled to herself,

“Great, im stuck in pack jail, i laughed and told her it's going to be okay. She will be a doctor,

Ray came back inside with one of the omgeas,

‘Sir, they are not sure how to sew the guards up, they need to be shown, and doctor Grit won't show them,” I heard Jenni sigh as she placed a cover over my open leg,

“I will take care of that, Alpha, I will be right back, and than i will continue on your leg, she walked off toward the ward were we had all the warriors, the omgeas was waiting for her, they followed her like she was the greatest thing on earth, she went to one warrior looking at his wounds,

“How did you get this deep wound? It shouldn't be this deep. It should have been sewn up.” He looked at me, and i nodded to let her know. She began to sew the wound up, letting the omgeas watch her so they could learn,

“Ive been awake for twenty four hours, I wasn't as fast as i should had been so they got me good,” She listened to him as she sewed him up, she talked to the omgeas letting them know how to use the needle without hurting them, than she told the warrior,

‘Then i order you to get twenty four hour rest, how can you protect the pack if you don’t have any rest, you could have died, Either you rest for twenty four hours, or you get killed and you won't be able to protect your pack,” He looked stunned, someone ordering him to rest for twenty four hours,”He said yes ma'am, i will get rest, after he was done being sewed up, she watched for a few minutes while the omgeas did it, she praised them when they did a good job, she ended up putting twenty warriors on bed rest for twenty four hours, she gave them the same speech she did the other, she kept mumbling under her breath about damn wars it gives nothing but grief when will this all end,” Once she was sure the omgeas was sure they could do it, we left the ward, i stopped her and asked her,

‘Where is your car? I need to go get it,”

“No need, when his leg is healed, i will be leaving,”

"You know that's not going to happen, tell me where your car is so i can go get it, or I could just leave it there,” shaking her head,

“Thats a shame, i was just starting to like you, but your ego got in the way,” I laughed as she told me where her car was, and i went to go get it while she went back to work on his leg,
