Rey pov

I felt something was off during dinner, she was all smiles talking to the pack members laughing and joking with them, But i’'ve heard the rumors, my pack was talking, that the luna an alpha wasn't sleeping in the same room, it doesn't even look like he's marked her yet, so she was fair game to them, it didn't piss me off because they were right, A unmarked female is fair game to any unmated male, Tonight i was going to change that, I waited until she was done helping the cooks clean up, I have told her she didn't need to, but she always insisted,

“Jenni, if you have time, I need to speak with you in my office. She nodded and then walked with me to my room. I sat down, but she stood, she always did, I told her about the rumors that the pack was talking about, so tomorrow afternoon, she will be moving into my room. I didn’t tell her i had a fold out couch in there I could sleep on it while she took the bed no big deal to me, im going to need to speak with her about us marking each other she's not going to like it, but we're going to need to,. once we were done she went up to her room, I stayed a little longer to finish up some work, After that i went up to my room, I was hoping to talk with her somemore, but i heard the computer and someone talking about some kind of xray thing, there was some kind of questions she had to answer, so I went into my room took a shower, than dried off, I was ready for bed,

I knew she would sometimes go out on her balcony to sit and relax, So I waited to hear the doors open, after a while, she went back inside closing the doors, okay, I can sleep now knowing she was back inside, alright, im heading to sleep,

‘Alright King, you know what to do, if there is any danger, you wake me and quickly get to where the danger is, Our pack safety is a must., We won't let them down,”

“I know this already, we been at this for decades, and you still tell me this, for once get some damn sleep and trust me,” I chuckled at my wolf, as I went to sleep,

The next morning

The next morning felt really off. I knew Jenni said she would pack last night, so there was no need to knock on her door. But as I thought about it, this was my house I built with my own hands, so instead of going to my office, I walked back into my room, grabbed the extra key I had for her room, walked next door to unlock it, and told her to never lock her door. She likes to defy me.

She doesn't like to be told what to do., i don't tell her what to do, there are just rules i want her to follow that is all, I knocked a few times thinking she would come and unlock the door so I could grab her things to put in my room, but she never came to the door, sighing, i guess she will have to learn the hard way, Unlocking the door, I was expecting her to throw something at me or yell at me for coming into her room, but i heard nothing and felt nothing, The balcony door was open, so she must be out there, walking out into the balcony but she wasn't there,

‘She's gone, Rey, she jumped from here landing than ran into the woods to get away,” Howling loudly, I jumped down as well, Warriors and guards came to me ready for a fight, but there was no threat, my beta Ray came running over,

"What the h.ll is going on, we heard the howl, Where's the threat?”

‘There is no threat, Jenni is gone, she ran last night, she at least has nine hour head start, i want you to go check her bank accounts to see if she withdrew anything, call the airports, and call the cab companies, I want her found like yesterday, once she is found, bring her ass back here,”

“But Alpha, the cab company, is runned by humans, not wolves. They won’'t tell us anything,”

‘THAN FU.KING DESTROY THE PLACE UNTIL THEY DO TELL YOU!! NOW GO!!”
