“I still didn't know what to say, or how to react to what Damien has just said, so I nodded and squared my shoulders taking in a deep breath.
“ Say you have forgiven me," Damien asked but that was a question I couldn't answer.
“ I don't know if I can forgive you, Damien, trust you even though I knew it was foolish of me to do so, but we can co-exist.
“Even though I hate to acknowledge it, I need you, Damien, no one knows the island better than you," I said and Damien nodded his head.
“ I can live with that, there is still hope for you to forgive me," Damien said and I sighed heavily forcing a smile to my face
“ Well we should go, we need to find somewhere safe to sleep, we have a long journey ahead of us tomorrow," Damien let out.
