''I don't like that man, I don't know why you insisted on us staying here. He is acting so shady,'' Damien let out as he sat on the bed.
I continued to ignore him because I knew it was his ego talking.
'' Ella, we are leaving here first thing in the morning, no excuses,'' Damien said as he lay on the bed looking at me.
'' Damien, all this is not necessary, Micheal is just trying to help. '' I let out.
'' I do not trust him, I do not trust this place,'' Damien yelled at me for the first time, and I was taken aback as I looked at him with wide eyes.
Maybe Damien saw that his yelling was scaring me because he moved closer to me, cupping my face with his hands.
'' I am sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, I just wanted to keep you safe,'' Damien whispered.
