Ella's POV
I was happy that everything turned out as planned. Maria was back and she had forgiven Micheal, so we went inside to celebrate Maria's return.
'' How can I thank you, my dear,'' Micheal said, and I smiled.
'' You helped us when you didn't know us, so I thought it was only right we repaid the gesture,'' I let out and Micheal smiled.
'' You are one of a kind, my dear girl, even though you didn't have the love of your parents while growing up, you still turned out great,'' Micheal said.
We continued drinking and dancing to the music which Maria had put on.
'' You outdid yourself,'' Damien whispered into my ear.
'' Do you mean we, because we did this together,'' I said, smiling at my husband.
'' Then I think we make a great team,'' Damien said, kissing me softly.
