Ella's POV
What was I thinking? Damien was right, I shouldn't have come. It was too soon for me. Being here brought back memories I have been trying to do away with.
Seeing that deer, I saw myself in it, and I couldn't let the terrible fate that befell us on that island happen to that animal, so I stopped Micheal when he wanted to kill it.
But Micheal was resilient. He was determined to kill that animal.
'' I can't lose her,'' he said as he ran after the deer.
Terrified, I was shivering where I stood as I continued to hear Micheal shooting at the poor animal.
'' What is wrong with you Ella, do something?'' the voices in my head screamed at me, breaking me out of my fearful state.
I ran after Micheal, screaming for him not to do it, but trust me, I was no match for him.
