As Emily prepared for her date with Lucio in her apartment, her phone interrupted her thoughts. Emily: "Hello?" Lucio: "Hello, my dear Emily. Are you ready? I'll be there in a couple of minutes." Emily hesitated before responding. Emily: "Yes, I'm ready." Ending the call, Emily grabbed her purse and stepped out of her room, where Carla was watching TV. Emily: "Hey, Carla." Carla: "Wow, Emily, you look stunning in that red dress. But I'm worried about this date. Just be careful, my friend." Emily smiled reassuringly. Emily: "Don't worry, Carla. I'll be fine. Thank you." The doorbell rang, and Carla rose to answer it. Lucio: "Good evening, Carla. Is Emily ready?" Carla: "Yes, she's ready. Come on in." Lucio entered the apartment, his gaze fixed on Emily in her red dress. Lucio: "Wow, Emily, you look stunning in that red dress." Emily: "Thank you, Mr. Carlson." Lucio: "Please, call me Lucio. it's so formal calling me Mr Carlson, Shall we go?" After bidding farewell to Carla, Emily kissed her friend on the cheeks. Carla: "Have fun and be careful, Emily." Emily nodded, thanking Carla again, before leaving the apartment with Lucio. Left alone, Carla couldn't shake off her unease. Carla: "I hope she'll be safe. I don't trust that man, and I've heard too many bad things about Lucio. I'm worried for Emily." Sitting on the couch, Carla's thoughts drifted back to her friend, her concern overshadowing the distractions of the TV.
