Anger could not do justice to justify the way I felt that very minute. Not only was I upset with the guards, Eric's snores were getting even louder, upsetting me the more. I however shrugged it off and turned to the guards. Perhaps, the disturbing sound of Eric's long snore which he drew had made them withdraw backward. I was shocked as well.
“Where is he now?” I questioned, looking at them from eye to eye. I didn’t want to hear any more stories. I just wanted to find the truth. I was surprised at the words that Eric had said. Could Adelaide really be in danger or whatever had happened to him made him say so? Regardless, I knew I had to get to the root of the matter.
