Adelaide I had always been fascinated by the moon. Its bright light seemed to call to me, urging me to explore the world beyond the confines of the pack and so when the full moon was high in the sky, I slipped out of the pack, surprised no one could see me and plunged into the woods. I didn't know where I was going or what I was looking for. I just knew that I had to be out there, under the moon's watchful gaze. For hours I wandered, my feet taking me deeper and deeper into the forest. The trees loomed overhead, casting long shadows across my path. I wasn't afraid, though.
