Adelaide
I was quite upset. My heart raced as I stared at her not knowing what to say. She stared at me looking shocked that I had caught her. I was sure. I was certain that I had seen that woman and I knew Mother had some sort of relationship. I knew Mother had been lying to me all along although I had no idea why.
I was certain that she got to know about it. I furrowed my brows as I looked at her, not sure of what to say as I slowly walked towards her. The woman stood, a smile on her face as she crossed her arms and stared at me even though I was proceeding towards her.
“Adelaide, Adelaide” I heard someone call to me. I looked behind me as I wondered who was calling me but everywhere suddenly turned blank. I did not know what to do at that moment. What was happening?
