I leave the training ground after the slave's outburst. I am not about to pretend as if a part of me isn't happy that she has finally taken a decision for herself. The wolf side of me is happy but my human side doesn't give a f**k about what she wants to do with herself. I don't friggin care if she had decided to travel to the moon and back because it is simply not my business.
I am about to turn around a corner when I bump into Kiara. The minute she realized that I was the one, she froze and I could see how frightened she had become.
I look behind her to see if she was being chased by someone else but sadly she isn't. She's very well on her own so why was she frightened to see me? She looks like a child who had just been caught trying to steal candy.
