Ivan I let down the whip angrily on Ian’s back. I could see the maids move away in pity. They sure pitied him but I was very upset and did not care. My rage could burn down an entire pack. I forced myself to believe that I was upset at him and Adelaide and I was even more upset because he left me and supported Adelaide instead of me. I was really hurt hence I passed out my anger on him. I could hear his silent grunts as he tried to bear the pain of the whip on his back. His whole body was shaky yet a single tear did not fall from his eyes. “Ivan, take it easy. He could be innocent. By the way, he could be innocent. You have no evidence to nail him guilty. You could be punishing an innocent soul!” Eric tried to talk but I did not want to listen to anything he wanted to say. “Shut up!”
