I watched her pick up the dishes from the table and placed it neatly on the tray after we had finished eating. I can't believe that I made a complete fool of myself in front of her. Why did I go blabbing about the meal? Now she would think that I obviously had some sort of interest in her food or that maybe I was getting attached to her meals.
She only took over cooking duties yesterday so how then was I able to detect that she didn't cook this meal? I've had food from different cooks over the years so why then was I suddenly getting attached to this woman's dishes.
