Dark Cultivation • Romance • Harem • Fantasy – Dreame Style The night deepened over Crimson Ridge, and yet an eerie crimson glow pulsed from within the cavern—slow, steady, like the heartbeat of something ancient that refused to die. Blood trickled from Lin Xuan’s torn palm as he leaned against the stone wall. The agony from his shattered meridians hadn’t faded; instead, it spread like icy needles beneath his skin. Every breath tasted like rust and despair. But he forced his eyes open. Because in the center of the cave… Suspended above a pool of dried blood… Floated a single, flawless crimson pearl. It glowed softly, as if it were alive. And it was calling him. The Blood Pearl’s Whisper …Come to me… The whisper wasn’t a voice. It was a sensation—warm, intoxicating, irresistible. It slipped straight into Lin Xuan’s soul, tugging at the last fragments of his will. He staggered forward. With each step, the crimson pearl pulsed brighter, illuminating the cave with a seductive blood-red radiance. Strange sigils crawled across its surface, twisting and shifting like living runes. Lin Xuan’s breath trembled. “This… this thing is alive…” He reached out a trembling hand. The moment his fingertip brushed the surface— BOOM! A violent surge of blood-qi exploded outward. The cavern shook. The air cracked like thunder. Lin Xuan was thrown backward, slamming into the stone wall—yet he did not feel pain. Instead… he felt warmth. A sweet, seductive warmth spreading from his chest. He looked down. The Blood Pearl had embedded itself into his heart. The Awakening A rush of images flooded his mind— A blood-robed sovereign raising an army of crimson spirits. A woman with silver eyes kneeling before a throne of bones. A shattered world drowning in scarlet rain. A forbidden cultivation art sealed within the pearl’s core. Then— Awaken, inheritor… Return to the path that was stolen from you… Claim the destiny drenched in blood… The voice was neither male nor female. It was ancient. Broken. But filled with power strong enough to crush the heavens. Lin Xuan gasped for breath as the visions faded. Blood mist curled beneath his feet. The shattered meridians in his body… Began to re-knit themselves. Pain vanished. Strength surged. His heart pounded with the rhythm of the pearl—slow, heavy, domineering. “I… I can feel qi again…” Not just any qi. Something darker. Heavier. Addictive. Blood Qi. The essence of slaughter. The power of forbidden cultivation. Lin Xuan clenched his fists, trembling with exhilaration. “I won’t live like trash ever again.” The Girl in the Chains A soft clink echoed deeper within the cavern. Lin Xuan stiffened. He turned. And his breath caught. There—half-hidden by shadows and wrapped in glowing chains—sat a girl no older than seventeen. Her hair was pale as moonlight, spilling over her bare shoulders like frost. Her skin glowed with a faint ethereal light, marred only by the blood-red chains binding her wrists and ankles. Her eyes slowly opened. Silver. Cold. Frightened. “You… absorbed the Blood Pearl…” she whispered, voice trembling. “That means… you are now its master.” Lin Xuan stepped closer, heart pounding—not just because of her beauty, but because of the aura around her. She wasn’t human. Not fully. “What are you?” he asked softly. The girl lowered her gaze. “I… am the guardian spirit of the Blood Pearl. Bound for a thousand years.” A shaky breath. “Now that you carry the pearl… you can decide my fate.” Her words trembled between fear and hope. Lin Xuan felt his chest tighten. “So I can free you?” She hesitated. “You can free me… or you can bind me as your life-servant.” A faint blush colored her pale cheeks. “If you choose the latter, I must obey you completely. In all things.” Her silver eyes flicked up at him—shy, yet strangely expectant. Lin Xuan swallowed. Hard. The Blood Pearl pulsed once in his chest, as if urging him to take the darker path. And the girl waited… trembling… vulnerable… Her chains glowing faintly. Waiting for his decision.
