The warriors rested for some hours and planned a better way to search for Abby. By now it was dawn again and Abby still lay unconscious. Two entire days they had been searching with no clue of where she could be. They thought it could possibly be rogues since they had been attacking other packs lately. Where did they come from though was their question. Blackwood pack was well secured and no one could enter or leave without being noticed. Their borders had especially been well protected with the best warriors. They couldn't even figure out who was the attacker. Everyone was frustrated and tired. Blake had been sleeping and Hunter was glad that Blake stayed so. Abby's family was worried to death about her. They had become restless. Abby was still knocked out because the vampires kept giving her drugs in her sleep. Fiona was happily thinking about her future as the ruler of Blake's pack and how she would deal with all of those stupid dogs. Vampires and werewolves had a a truce decades ago but a greedy vampire had broken their deal and ended being murdered by the alpha of the werewolves at that time. Sadly that vampire was Fiona's older brother and the only family she had left. Fiona had been told that the werewolves betrayed ber brother and killed him but it had been viceversa. He wouldn't have died if he respected their agreement. The werewolves were only protecting themselves. Since Fiona was the last original vampire, she took over and declared war against the werewolves. All would pay for what one werewolf had done. She didn't care if it was a pup or elder. She wanted all of them dead. Fiona went to take a look at Abby in the room where they held her prisoner. To her surprise Abby wasn't on the floor. She quickly turned to search the room but found no trace of Abby. Abby had fled and Fiona was furious. She kicked a chair that was near her and stomped out the room leaving the door wide open. She gathered the vampires and yelled furiously, " find her now". They ran out to search for Abby. Meanwhile in the room Abby had been sitting still in a corner. She let out a sigh and reappeared in the room. Abby had been awake and faked to be drinking the drugs. She had been buying herself time to plan an escape. She had searched the entire room but only found the door was her only way out of that place. Luckily in one of her attempts to use her powers Abby learned to become invisible. That was new to her and it came in handy and just in time to help her escape. It seemed that her powers manifested themselves whenever she needed them urgently. Abby practiced for some time until she could manage them a little. She could only become invisible for certain time because it made her weak. After using them she had to find another way to get out without being seen or else she would die there. She sneaked out and ran making left and right turns without looking back. She reached near the exit when she caught sight of a group of vampires talking nearby. She halted and hid behind some boxes that were stitting by the entrance. It was very convenient to find such things there. She listened to their conversation and heard that they were talking about her. They had no idea of where she ran to and that gave her advantage. Soon they all continued their search moving away. Abby peeked and saw them leaving so she didn't waste a second and sprinted into the forest. She ran like a deer not caring about the pebbles or thorns that were boring her feet, arms and legs. All she cared of was finding her pack. It was getting dark and Abby was nowhere close to her pack. She was scared and cold. Hunter had been searching without stopping for hours but he had to go back because Blake had awoken and was doing a mess. Eric and Lawrence weren't going to be able to hold him of long enough. They were trying to buy time for Hunter but they were failing miserably. Drugging Blake wasn't happening again and they were running out of resources to stop Blake from getting out. Blake was furious because he wanted to search for Abby but her cousins wouldn't let him out so he had no other choice but to use his alpha tone. "Step aside," he commanded making both boys step aside. Blake ran out and rushed into the woods and shifted. Hunter was about to reach when Blake passed pushing him to a side. Hunter internally groaned and turned to run behind his alpha. Blake ran behind the moonlight swiftly. He looked amazing and gorgeous. His black fur shone under the stars making him look ferocious yet amazing. Blake sniffed here and there catching a scent and it wasn't Abby's. He howled to alert his companions. They all gathered where he was and sniffed the air realizing that vampires had been there. They growled and took off. Vampires must have taken Abby away and she was in horrible hands if so. Abby hid by a mahogany tree in the forest thinking that she should shift but she was scared to be seen by her pack members. Her fur color wasn't normal at all so she didn't want anyone seeing it. She knew her senses became heightened if she shifted and she would be able to sniff better and run faster. Abby's eyes began to glow and Cora urged her to shift. Abby was reluctant to do so but she listened to her wolf and was amazed to see a cute, brown wolf in the reflection of a puddle. She complimented Cora and took of once more. Soon she caught Blake's scent and howled to catch his attention if he was nearby. Luckily Blake heard her howl and turned back. He rushed toward her with his warriors following close by. She saw Blake's wolf running in her direction so she ran too. Abby leaped in the air but as she did a group of vampires came out of nowhere and attempted to get ahold of her but she dodged them. Abby ran even faster but one of them jumped wanting to land on top of her but was knocked to the ground by Blake. He looked fiercely into the vampire's eyes and growled then ripped his throat open instantly killing it. The other vampires launched at Blake but saw the other wolves coming at them so they retreated. Fiona watched from afar angrily. She was pissed and wanted nothing more than to kill Abby and the rest of wolves but she couldn't let them know she was a vampire so she left too. Blake shifted back to his human form and got some clothes from one of his pack members then changed. He came back out and hugged Abby's wolf letting out a relieved sigh then handed Abby another pair of clothes. Abby turned to walk behind a tree to change when Blake slapped her ass making her wolf yelp. She looked at him angrily and Blake smirked back at her. She hurriedly changed and came back out frkm behind the trees then the all headed back to their pack. It was past midnight already and the other wolves needed to go back to their families. Laura was sitting on her porch when she saw Abby walking home with Blake. She rushed to hug and shower Abby with kisses. She cried a little but Abby comforted her. The rest of the wolves went home after their alpha's command and Blake stayed with Abby not letting her out of his sight even for a second. He had been anxious and hurt these past days and he was going to make sure nothing ever happened to Abby again. He was going to make sure she was protected at all times after this event. He wanted to question Abby but he knew she was tired and she had suffered a lot these days so he didn't bother her. He would talk to her another day. That night he just enjoyed his mate and her family's company.
