Abby's Rival

The next day the couple awakes feeling ecstatic and look very lovely together. They get ready for school in a hurry then Blake drove them to school. Abby was being such a child on their way. She made Blake come out of the highway about 5 times. She giggled each time his eyes went wide and said she would behave but she knew it wasn't true. She straddled him and blake laughed trying to get her off of him earning a bite on the neck that would surely leave a bruise and a kiss on the cheek. About an hour after they arrived at school and Blake looked annoyed by now. She was trying to get on his nerves and it was working. Blake looked at Abby mischievously and without saying another word he swooped her up on his shoulder and made a run for it. "Splash", the water went as he threw Abby into the pool. Blake was laughing his guts out but his smile faded when he saw that Abby wasn't coming up. He didn't know if she could swim and by the looks of it she couldn't. Without another thought he dived into the water grabbing Abby's waist and swimming up again. He pulled her out and hurriedly tried CPR on her. After a while of struggling to revive her, Abby opened her eyes and sat up coughing violently and spitting water. Her eyes were red and so was Blake's face. As he made an attempt to apologize Abby got up and pushed him into the pool then stormed of. In mere seconds she was nowhere to be found. Blake frantically searched for her in every corner but couldn't find her anyway. It was noon already and Blake bumped into someone but it wasn't Abby.

Blake's POV

"Fiona", I say startled. I was looking for Abby after our incident in the pool and was so distracted that I bumped into someone. I'm not happy at all of whom I've bumped into. Fiona is one of my ex girlfriends and is one of the meanest girls in our school. She's not from our pack and I'm not sure if she's human, werewolf or a vampire. She seems to always cover her scent so none of us can figure out what she is. I never questioned it though. She gives me a big smile and replies " Did you miss me baby? a little too high pitched for my liking. As I was about to reply, she reached forward and pulled me into a kiss. I was shocked and wasn't able to push her away on time.

Abby's POV

I have been hiding the entire morning from Blake and I think it's time for me to come out. I can't swim and got angry at him for throwing me into the pool but then came to understand that he didn't know I can't swim. I'm walking down one of the corridors then make a swift right turn and oh my heart aches at the sight. Another girl launches at Blake and kisses him. I feel my world clatter and a whimper escapes my lips. I cover my mouth and turn on my heel as I run away from the scene. I don't know where to run so I just run till I feel I'm far enough. It hurt me so much to see another girl kissing him. I don't know if it's the mate bond or my feelings but I don't care. I hear Blake running but I quickly get him lost as I speed up. He's not behind me anymore and I reach by a lake. I see a humongous rock sitting by the lake. I walk up to it and sit and let out everything I have inside me. I cry and wail as I lean on the rock.

Blake's POV

I recover from my shock but I push Fiona away to late. Abby saw her kissing me and now she must think I did this or I wanted it. I run behind her but she's too fast to catch up to. She makes left and right turns and by the time I get outside she's no longer visible. I groan in frustration and kick some bikes beside me making them fall. Desesperation kicks in and I cant control myself any longer. I already messed up twice for today and I didn't even mean to do it. I storm back inside furiously looking for Fiona. She's on a corner with some of her friends laughing as if nothing just happened. I storm straight to her side and before she can say another word I grab her throat menacingly " Don't ever kiss me or come near me", I command and Fiona shrieks grabbing my hand, trying to loose my grip on her throat. I slam her into the wall not caring about who's watching and let her fall with a hard thud on the floor. Her friends hurry to pick her up but she refuses and angrily gets up holding her neck. I have no idea where Abby went and if I call her aunt, she'll worry or even get angry at me for being so careless. I search for hours but can't seem to find her anywhere. I'm getting exhausted but I don't give up so easily. I remember about the lake I used to go swimming at when I was a pup and dash to it. There I find her leaning on the rock I climbed and pretended to be un top of the world. It's already getting dark and Abby fell asleep. I don't want to wake her up so I pick her up and take her home with me. I hope when she wakes up, she'll be able to listen to my explanations.

Fiona has never seen Blake be so rude with her. She was his favorite girlfriend and she isn't about to loose to an unwelcomed she wolf. She begins plotting on how to get rid of that pest and she needs to be quick or else her plan of taking over the blackwood pack will be over. It seems her informants were right and Blake already marked that Abby girl but he hasn't been marked yet so she still has a chance. She has to do all in her power to become the next Luna and so she'll govern werewolves and vampires. She'll be the strongest vampire in the entire vampire community. Fiona laughs and puts her plan on action. Soon the werewolves will be her slaves and no one will save them from her grasp.
