Emma watched as Alice broke down in front of her, she had to clench her fist inorder to stop herself from snickering.
'I was alarmed for nothing, she is just another abandoned child dying to be loved.'' she thought to herself.
Keeping her smile at bay, she proceeded closer to Alice and hugged her.
'ACTION' She told herself.
"I was just so hurt." She started, her eyes slowly becoming teary.
"I thought you didn't want me back. I thought you couldn't forgive me, I thought I didn't have a place in your heart,in your life, I just didn't know what to do, I'm sorry for hurting you, I'm sorry." She finished, the tears were now falling uncontrolled and unplanned.
Bethany watched, amazed at how good an actress her mother was.
'Or was she not acting, was she becoming soft?' Bethany wondered.
