Serena bowed her head and grasped her left chest. Her heart was aching so much that it seemed like it was being twisted into knots. She bit her lips to stop the sound that was about to leave her throat. Her entire world was spinning around her. She tried to remain calm, but her efforts were in vain.
Serena simply couldn't take it anymore. So she stood up abruptly.
