I could not even stop myself from smiling.
I was really feeling somewhat pleased with myself for accomplishing it for the first time after hearing Lachlan's remarks. It was as though someone had validated me for something I never did before, and I felt proud and satisfied. I was happy that my performance had impressed Lachlan and that I had gone above and beyond both of our expectations. I was happy that he was enjoying my skills even though I was a virgin and had never done anything like that prior to this. Given that it was a s****l praise and recognition, it was strange, but I felt outstandingly amazing about it. It seemed like I had aced an extremely difficult major test, perfected it.
