Alston felt a wave of melancholy in his heart.
As Corin ascended the stairs, he rose from his seat, strode to the edge of the sofa, shrugged off the lightweight suit jacket he had worn when he arrived earlier that evening, and walked briskly towards the villa's entrance.
Regina was taken aback and hurriedly caught up with Alston, blocking his path. "Alston, where are you going at this late hour?"
