Chase’s POV
“I used to be a two ladies man.” Fred said. “It sounds so dumb to me when I say it now, but I really did believe it then.”
“What changed?” I asked him.
“I see you're impatient, just like the old me. Matter of fact, you remind me of myself as the seconds pass.
“I don't know if that is a compliment.” I responded.
“Oh, it is. You're finding yourself, it sure is.” Fred replied. “It took a couple of STDs to quit it, and seeing her broken too. I infected her a couple of times, so she decided to call it quits.I broke down for two months. My man here held the business for me. Then I went clean.
“That's f****d up man. I feel so bad for her.” I replied to him.
“Well, that was her from the past. She's with a man who breathes her exhale, and eats off the palm of her hands.” H
