RAVEN: My entire body locks up as Grant’s lips meet my own. I do not put my hands on him as I try to process what is happening. My body feels good, and I can swear by it. It is new, and it seems peaceful—more peaceful than being with Dante. Involuntarily, my hands move, and my fingers dig into his hair. It is soft and inviting. I moan into his mouth, and he doesn’t stop. His body pushes mine backward until I hit a wall, and he pins me to it. I grind against him, but his hand doesn’t move from my waist. It is like he is waiting for some sort of permission, so I withdraw my hands, pressing them onto his chest for a second. He breaks the kiss, pressing his forehead against mine.
