RAVEN I sit on the edge of the bed, my skin crawling with a revulsion I can’t wash off. I feel indifferent, cold, and utterly hollow. I just slept with a man who, moments ago, calmly ordered a m******e. Dante stands by the window, because I do not want him near me. I have to think. He has killed many, I know this, but it’s different now. This isn't war; this is a grudge, and Marco has not harmed anyone. He didn't order Marco dead because he had to; he did it because he couldn't stand the man being near his daughter. He turns to me after a few seconds of silence. “Go on then, Raven. Judge me. I can see it in your eyes. Tell me how wrong I am for ordering the death of a man who has disrespected me!” he screams. I look at his restless and rage-filled eyes. I let out a deep, shaky breat
