The minutes pass by slowly while I remain tied up. Right now my butt hurts, and I am exhausted from crying.
I am not at ease, and I fear I might die. If Dante is truly on a trip and he has left me to be, then today will finally be the day. I try to think positively. It will mean the end of my misery and reuniting with my parents, but the thought of it scares the crap out of me.
Every time I hear voices or footsteps, my heart jumps into my throat. I’m shivering so hard my teeth are chattering. The cold floor isn’t helping either.
I wish they had left me a blanket because this dress is doing nothing to protect me from the cold.
