Chapter 3

"So how was your first day?", Sarah asked as we headed to the car.

"It was actually quite good. First time I ever enjoyed school!" I giggled.

"You basically live in your school books, how could you not love school?", she rolled her eyes at me.

"Well I want a future unlike you!", I said and she pushed me playfully.

"Touché", she says and we giggled. "I had a class with Brandon today", Sue says dreamingly. She probably imagined him stripping or something like that, actually that wouldn't be a bad imag- No!, Mira please get yourself together, what the hell is wrong with me.

"Ooh okay, well that's nice", I say and continue walking to the car.

"Aw com'on Mira, you have to admit his drop dead georgous", she says and I roll my eyes. This girl and men, she is truly crazy!, but on the other hand who wouldn't be crazy about this Brandon guy.

"You need professional help and yes he is handsome but his whole aura stinks of f**k boyness", I say and enter the car as Sarah unlocks it.

"f**k boy or not I'd let him fu-"

"Sarah!" I cut her off before she says one of the most dirtiest things ever. "Your so gross!!!"

"I hope his gross in the dirtiest kind of way, I'm really gonna ask him out", she says as we both closed our doors and she started the engine.

"Go ahead." If there's anyone who had a chance with asking Brandon out, its Sarah. She's like the all american girl, ocean blue eyes, strawberry brown hair, the perfectly sculpted legs an beautiful features. If Brandon rejects her that's the day I probably get a fit. Sarah's only in her raw state with me but with anyone else she's like a total sweet heart, even to her brother which is surprising and plus Sarah's like one of the most sweetest person you'll ever find, her heart is just too big.

"Anyways, could I come chill at your place today?", she asks and I laugh.

"Are you dum or something?, you don't even have to ask to come to my place and plus I was gonna ask you anyway", I say which is the truth, I don't want to be by myself all the time and I really don't want to invade aunt May's space.

"Cool, we should probably get take out then". I agree with her. We get some MacDonalds since its my favorite and we head to my apartment.

"So what do you think?", I ask Sarah as we enter my little apartmentoom.

"Awww its like the cutest thing I've ever seen", she says using her "I'm a little girl voice."

"Yeah, I told you", I say as I close the door behind her.

"Now you have a privacy to give away your V-card" she says wiggling her eyebrows.

"Please".I huff."I remember telling you that my V-card is special

to me so end of discussion", I say before she says something stupid which will probably lead me to punching her arm.

"Whatever", she jumps onto my bed and then sits down next to her handing her, her big Mac.

"So how's Jason?", I ask. Jason's still kinda my friend so I still kinda worry about the kid.

"Still wondering around as usual", she says watching TV as she eats her burger silently.

"Ooh, so what's so good about this Brandon guy that you like so much?", I say and she giggles nervously.

"Um well, I kinda have a crush on him since we started last year." Ooh what a surprise but I have to act like its a surprise though.

"Wait what? and you didn't tell me!", I cut he off feeling a little hurt even through it wasn't a big deal.

"Its not like that, its just that I like him. Not to the point where I'm like "Awww Brandon this and awww Brandon that", its a little crush and if he chooses to say yes when I ask him out then good for me but if he doesn't then that's the end of it!", she says as she continues eating her burger.

"Don't worry I'm pretty sure he will say yes! Who could ever say no to "giggles"." I say laughing at her nickname that she hates with a burning passion.

"b***h!, how many f*****g times should I tell you not to call me that!", she practically shouts.

"And she's back", I laugh and she starts laughing as well.

Suddenly her phone rings and she picks it up.

"Hello?", She says.

"Ugh, really Jason?", She yells and I laugh at her." I'm coming you little prick". She says and then hangs up.

"Go" I say sincerely. "I understand".

"His like a little baby, I have to do everything for him". She says then stands up and straightens out the creases on her pink dress. "See ya' tomorrow bish", she hugs me and then leaves. I do nothing but laugh at how stupid she could be. I really do hope that f**k boy, Brandon says yes to her although I do think that he should be the one asking her out. Well whatever I just hope she knows what she's doing.

I watch as Sarah walks over to Brandon as he walks with two of his friends. There must be something wrong with brandons lips, they never twitch up to make a smile.

She calls at Brandon and he turns around, his friends look bored. They are probably used to seeing girls on Brandon.

I could see Sarah talking to him and he looked as bored as his friends.

He said one word I think and then he walked away with his friends laughing.

Sarah turns around and walks to me with a shocked expression on her face, then a single tear escapes and runs down her cheeks.

I immediately embrace her in a hug and rub her back.

"What happened?" I ask.

"He said no" she said and sobs lightly on my shoulders.
