Emily pov
It’s been a week since mom was admitted to the hospital I have been here all week with her Stacey and Lexi always come to visit , since I couldn’t be home with them and they couldn’t stay at the hospital May offered to take care of them . Mom and I have talked she was sorry about keeping everything away from us but I assured her everything was fine and that we need her now that dad is no more and I fully know that dad wouldn’t like it if she continue like this, I have always admired the relationship between my mom and dad I mean it’s what you call the perfect marriage they loved each other they always bonded over everything thing I miss him so much but God knows why he had to go.
Mom suggested we give all dads belongings to charity I think so too at lest it will help with the moving on process. We are Leaving the hospital today I know May and my siblings prepared a surprise for her but who am I to spill (laughs) after the discharge papers were signed , we took a cab home I helped mom take the stuff of the car while I told her to go inside immediately she opened the door they are shouted surprise I could see the shock and joy on her face Stacey was already hugging her , May’s parents were here too indeed it was a surprise

I was overwhelmed with joy to see the little surprise they put together for me and guilt washed over me to think I was killing my self leaving my little angels behind (wipes tears) I pray God forgives me , Seeing all the joy on everyone’s faces I intend to move on for real this time , From a corner I can see Emily chatting with her friend looking at her now she has lost a lot of weight well why wouldn’t she when she doing the work of both a mother and a father I think it’s time she takes a break too , working at different part time jobs until she got the one at the restaurant I don’t think she have a boyfriend oh my poor baby it’s time to change everything I have to live for my kids now tomorrow the charity people are coming to get his stuff I am still hurt but it’s time to let go

The next day the charity came to pick up Emily’s dad stuff it was a sad moment but they all knew it was time to move on , after the charity left they went out for a date in the park and to grab lunch afterwards for the first time since their dad died they were really happy, they had a fun day at the park and they went home afterwards. Meanwhile Jared hasn’t been himself since the last encounter with Emily he always comes to the restaurant to eat with hopes of seeing her but all to no avail , he was starting to miss her which was strange because he doesn’t do love since his last girlfriend cheated on him he stopped doing relationships only one night stands , he always makes it clear with his one rule NO STRINGS ATTACHED and so far it has been going well for the past five years until he met Emily at the restaurant. He was taken aback with her beauty those enchanting blue eyes , those pink and succulent lips he was wonders how they will taste , he has even tried having S*x with his flings but each time his mind always go back to Emily.

It’s been months since I last saw her I tried going back there over and over but I couldn’t get to meet her call me a psycho yes I am I just needed to see those eyes again, I haven’t felt this way in a long time damn I can’t even remember when last my I felt my heart race for someone I tried asking Mrs Jose but she couldn’t get me who I wanted it was getting frustrating no woman has ever made me feel this way before, I am having a hard on just thinking about her this can’t be happening I have a meeting in about 30 minutes and I can’t go in there with a hard on I quickly called Ivy she is one of my quick lays she told me she was coming and I put the phone down waiting for her.
