KAYLEE I stared down at Jace’s sleeping form in my bed. The man was on his back in the middle of the bed with his left arm tucked behind his head on the pillow, the other draped casually over his naked torso. His toned legs were stretched and crossed at the ankles. In all my years, I had never seen a man who slept as though he was posing for a picture for a magazine cover. Huh? The spark of a thought flared in my mind. I checked to make sure Jace’s breathing was still even and his eyes were closed. Then I quickly took out my phone and snapped a picture of him. It was the only thing I would have to remember our time together, anyway. A time that had been wonderful and exactly what I needed after Caleb’s rejection of my proposal.
