KAYLEE “What are we doing here?” I asked as soon as Axel turned off the car engine. I stared out the windshield at the unfamiliar nondescript building and the expensive-looking Jeep parked in front of it. Instinctively, I reached my hand back between the seats and laid a hand on Zeke’s leg.
