KAYLEE It was a temporary loss of my senses, that’s what it was. I hadn’t been thinking when I allowed Axel to kiss me. Neither had my brain been functioning when I kissed him back. The kiss was nothing gentle. It was as hungry and demanding as the kisses we had shared on the train. They were the kisses that spoke of borrowed time.
