Ellen I watch as Christian’s eyelashes flutter against his cheeks, a sign that he is finally about to wake up. I’ve been so worried about him ever since he passed out fighting Claire. My heart skips a beat when he mumbles something I can’t understand in his deep voice – a voice that’s become my anchor in recent months. I’m so relieved he is waking up. As his eyes finally open and focus on me, I see the confusion clouding his deep blue irises. “Ellen?” His voice is hoarse.
