Alpha Lindsey

Pack business

Marco's POV:

Damn, my head hurts. I sat up straight, and saw that I was on the floor. I stood up, and saw that I was in Daniel's room. Why was I here? Then it hit me. Lindsey. Unicorn. Stupid. 

Shit. 

Hopefully she would forgive me. I went back to our room, and saw that she was not here. I went to take a shower and to brush my teeth. After I was finished, I dressed in my smart suit. Today was a big day. Alpha Nataniel was coming over to inform me about the rogue attacks. They were getting worse each week. We suspect that they are planning something. We just don't know what.

I went downstairs and smelt eggs and bacon. I entered only to see my mate eating a whole plate of food. For the first time in forever she actually ate a full plate. I smiled. She looked up as soon as I entered and smiled. 

"Hey." I greeted. 

I wanted to kiss her on the lips, but I knew it was to fast. 

"Hey. I made breakfast." she said. 

She stood up and fetched my food. 

"Here you go." she said. 

"Thank you."

We ate in a comfortable silence. I wanted to know why she was suddenly eating so much, but did not want to push her or make her feel that she was not allowed. When we both finished, she took the plates and went to go wash them. I really wanted to help her, but then I saw the time. s**t, I was going to be late. I turned to leave, but then I heard her sad voice. 

"Are you mad at me?" she asked. 

I spun around and rushed towards her. I pulled her into a tight hug. I did not want to let go. It killed me that she thought I was angry at her. 

"Of course not my little Angel! Why would you think that?"

"Because I kicked you out of your bed and you just wanted ot leave now." she said with tears in her eyes.

"Angel, I am not angry. It was my fault and I deserved to be kicked out. As for leaving so soon, I have an important meeting to attend and I am officially 7 minutes late."

"Oh! But don't let me keep you form your important meeting! Go!" She said. 

"They can wait for me." I said while pulling her back in a tight hug. 

"What is your meeting about?" she asked. 

"Rogue attacks, but don't worry. We will handle everything."

I kissed her on her nose, and pulled away. 

"Enjoy your meeting." She said.

"Thanks." I replied while walking towards my office. 

I stepped into my office. They were already seated. I sat at the other edge of the table and looked at him. His Beta and Delta were standing beside him. Daniel, my Beta, and Rickus, my Delta, were standing beside me.

"Good afternoon Alpha Nataniel." I greeted.

"You are late Alpha Marco."

"I am sorry. I had some trouble."

"Let's do not talk bout that."

"Right, down to business." I said.

"Do you have any news about the newly rouge attacks?" he asks.

"We found a pattern." 

"What kind of pattern?" 

"We think they are attacking the smallest packs first, to distract us. I think they may attack one of us in a few weeks or so." I said.

"Then we will have to make a plan."

"Agreed."

"But what troubles me more, is the new information that we received from one of our Omegas." he said.

"Bring him in!" he said to his Delta. 

A scrawny looking boy, no older than 17, entered the room.

"I was not informed about you bringing an Omega into my territory Alpha Nataniel." I growled. 

"I apologise, but I wanted you to hear it straight from the source."

"I will not accept such behavior again. Proceed."

"I was outside our pack borders, when a rogue attacked me. It smelled like smoke and silver. It burned my nose, and prevented me from functioning right. I couldn't use my sense nor my mind-link."

"How did you manage to escape?" I asked, very curious. 

Before the Omega could answer, the door burst open and someone came barging in. Wait no, it was 2 someone. My mate and a little pup. I smiled when I saw her catching him and tickling him. It warmed my heart to see that my mate was good with kids even though she was cruelly mis-treated as a child. 

"Excuse me. Who the hell are you to barge in a very important meeting?" Alpha Nataniel scolded.

Lindsey suddenly looked up, and all the laughter died.

"Oh...I did---didn't kno-oow..." my mate stammered. 

"Get the hell out of here you mutt!" yelled Alpha Nataniel. 

The pup ran out of the office, and my mate started tearing up. That was it! I punched the table making everyone in the room flinch. Alpha Nataniel looked at me as if I was crazy. 

"Get out." I growled at Alpha Nataniel. 

"Excuse me?" he asked.

"Daniel, take the Luna out of the room and go buy her ice cream to calm her down please." I said, my eyes never leaving Alpha Nataniel.

When I said the word Luna, Alpha Nataniel, his beta and delta's eyes went wide with shock.

"Marco, I did not know she was the Luna." he tried apologising. 

"You will address me as Alpha Marco, for my pack is much stronger and bigger than yours and I won't hesitate to take you out and claim it as my own. Do you understand me?" I growled.

I knew I should not have threatened him, but he called my mate a freaking mutt. I was beyond angry with this low life. 

"Get out." I growled even louder. 

"I really did not know she was your Luna." he said.

I jumped up from my chair and tackled him. His Beta and Delta came rushing to his side, but Rickus quickly knocked them down and growled. Our pack has more power than them, so they had to submit.

"If I EVER find you near my pack territory, or even looking at my mate, I will not hesitate to kill you." I growled, using my Alpha voice. 

"Yes Alpha Marco."

I climbed of him, and Rickus let his Beta and Delta go. I was furious. My wolf was on the verge of braking loose, and I was afraid I would not be able to control him. 

"Alpha, it's going to be alright. You just need to calm down." Rickus said. 

I knew he was right, but that bastard made my blood boil.

"Gather all the packs warriors. And get as many silver as you can. We need to start training." I said, trying to calm down.

"Yes Alpha." 

Rickus bowed his head, and left. I will never forget, or forgive that bastard.
