Delphia Pack

Lindsey's POV:

For the past few months, yes months, we have been following the same routine every morning.

Wake up.

Go on a morning run.

Train.

Fight.

Eat.

Sleep.

Of course we did other stuff too. Like Marco and I have grown extremely close, and we had s*x a couple of times now. He's a sweetie pie. And I have grown to love him. We all have the weekends off to do our own thing. Marco has still been focusing on getting us to the top of the pack chain, I have been learning my Luna duties and I won Daniel in a sparring match.

The females have been training a lot harder. We wanted to prove to the male wolves that we can also be strong and fast and be capable of being warriors. Some of the woman in our pack even took down a couple of rogues. Impressive right? But that is all boring details.

Let’s get on with today shall we.

Today was the day. The day we have been preparing for. The day we have trained for. The day that caused Marco and I to fight over s**t. We are going to take down one of our enemy packs. It's an extremely risky thing to do, but if we want to become the deadliest and strongest pack, we have to do it.

I woke up, only to find that Marco was not in the bed. I frowned. I stood up from the bed and walked over to his office. I didn't even bother knocking. I went inside and saw him doing some paperwork. He looked stressed. I don't think he even noticed that I entered the room. I strolled over to him and put my arms around his neck. He jumped a bit, but soon relaxed under my touch.

"Hey baby. Whatca doing?" I asked while kissing his cheek.

"Just Paperwork."

"That sounds boring. Come, lets---"

Before I could he finish, he interrupted me.

"I want you to stay at the house today." he said.

"What? Why?"

"It's too dangerous. I don't want you getting hurt Angel."

Oh hell no. Anger was starting to take over. I trained as hard as he did. Hell, I even defeated Daniel! Now he wants me to stay home?

"Yes, I know you defeated Daniel, but it's still dangerous." he said.

Stupid mind link.

"Marco, I am coming. Whether you like it or not. I am just as strong as you, and I am capable of taking down an enemy. You even said it yourself; I managed to take down Daniel. You’re FREAKING beta!" I said.

"Please Lindsey. I can't afford to lose you."

"I am going. End of discussion." I said.

"Now, you can be angry at me if you want, but I'm just going to sit here on your lap and continue to kiss you." I said while sitting on his lap.

He smiled.

"I love you."

"I love you too baby." I said before I smashed my lips against his.

~ A few hours later ~

We were approaching the border of the Delphia pack. They did not know we were coming, so it sort of gave us the upper hand. The pups and elders stayed home with Daniel and the rest of the pack members. I stepped beside Marco and rubbed my head against his.

"We are going to win." I tell him through our mind-link.

He looked at me and licked my nose.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Marco turned around and faced his pack.

"Warriors, members and omegas! Today we are going to take down this pack! I don't want you to kill innocent pack members. Only if needed. I am going to challenge their Alpha, and take their land." he said.

I also started speaking.

"Protect each other at all costs. No matter of what rank you are. We don't want to lose any of you, and neither will we. We are strong and fierce. Stay together and protect."

They all bowed and we turned around. Marco howled, followed by me and then the rest of the pack. We charged onto Delphia's territory.

We came about halve way when their Alpha, Luna and some warriors stopped in front of us.

"What is the meaning of this?!" He growled.

Marco took a step forward, growling at him. He looked into the Alpha's eyes. That is how you challenge an Alpha. The Alpha responded quickly and lunged at him. They started attacking each other and trying to kill each other. I looked into the Luna's eyes. Usually Luna's aren't aggressive, but when it came down to protecting the ones we love, we would kill.

We circled each other, growling. I raced towards her and caught her of guard. I jump on top of her and bit into her side. She howled in pain and so did their Alpha. It gave Marco an opportunity to jump on the Alpha's back.

I focused all of my attention towards the Luna. We were biting and clawing at each other. My nails made contact with her eyes, and I blinded her one eye. Both howled in pain. She fell to the ground, giving me the opportunity to sink my teeth into her neck. I bit down hard, and snapped it.

I heard the Alpha fall to the ground because of the loss of his mate. Marco spared no second, and quickly killed him. We did it. We killed them. I looked at Marco and he had pride in his eyes. I nodded at him, before we both took off towards their pack house.

We heard the wolves cry for the loos of their Alpha and Luna. Some even tried to attack me and Marco. But our warriors quickly stepped in front of us, killing them instantly. Marco took a step forward and howled. He was claiming the pack territory. The pack members before us held fear in their eyes.

"Dear pack members do not be afraid. We are not going to hurt you. We are also not going to force you to be a part of this pack. You can now choose between joining our pack, becoming a rogue or death."

I knew this was all a part of the 'ritual' of claiming a new pack, but it still shocked me to hear that some may choose death.

Most of them joined our pack. I could feel the link opening up to them. I smiled at the wolves that crossed over to our side. They looked at me with anger and fear, but bowed their heads in respect. This was going to take some time.

About 25 of them chose to become rogues, and 7 chose death. I did not want to watch Marco banish the rogues, nor did I want to see his warriors kill them. So I turned around and took a good look at my new pack members.

"You did well." Daniel said, standing beside me.

"Thanks. But it still feels different you know. Having new members force to join the pack."

"I know, but that is how things work. At least we are closer to overthrowing the Poison wolves Pack."

By the way, The Delphia pack was number two in the ranking, therefor we are number two now. The Poison wolves are number one. The deadliest and strongest pack out there.

Marco gave one final howl, to show his dominance. I howled after him and soon the whole pack, even the new members, joined us.

We ran back to the pack house. When we reached the house, our pack was awaiting us. They wanted to meet the new members. It was a scary, yet thrilling adventure. I felt somehow stronger.

I knew it was going to take a lot of time for the new members to adjust, but I knew that eventually that they would.

~ 2 hours later ~

"Marco?" I asked when we entered his office.

"Yes Angel?" He asked while pulling me down on his lap.

"What about the other pack house on our territory?" I asked.

"We are going to tear it down."

"Oh..."

"Why?" he said while kissing my cheek.

"I was just wondering."

"Alright." he said before returning back to his papers.

"Can't we transform it into a safe house for the elders and the pups?" I asked curiously.

"That's actually not a bad idea. What did you have in mind?"

"I mean, like the pups can get the top floor where they can play and be watched over. We can even build a school in one of the classrooms where they could learn. The elders can then take the bottom floor for they cannot really take the stairs, and it will be peaceful without the commotion of the pack. They can also enjoy their time with the little ones. I mean, it's only if you want to. I just thought it would be a good idea considering the fact that they have to be in one room if another pack attacks."

"You are a very good Luna. Do you know that?" he said while kissing me.

I kissed him back.

"I will arrange a meeting with some of the members and I will contact the builders to start reforming the house."

"Can I be in charge of decorating?" I asked excitedly.

"Ha-ha, of course you can." he laughed.

"Thank you!" I said while jumping off his lap.

"Whoa there my little mate. Where are you going?" He asked shocked.

"I need to tell Sammy and then go shopping!"

I ran out the office door while screaming for Sammy.

Marco's POV:

I smiled. I love that girl.

She ran out here screaming for Sammy. I just laughed. Daniel entered my office.

"What is that all about?" he asked, lifting an eyebrow.

"She's just excited."

"About?"

"We are going to reform the new house into a place where the pups and elders can stay."

"That's a nice idea. Whose was it?"

"Hers." I said laughing.

"That's why she stole my mate from me." He laughed back. "Yeah, they are going shopping to buy decorations for the new house."

"Women." He said while rolling his eyes.

"So, what do you got?" he asked.

"We have 247 new pack members, and we lost 18 in the battle."

"That's not too bad."

"Yeah, but not enough to take down the Poison wolves."

"Have you ever thought about recruiting rogues?"

"Hell no. They killed my Father remember. I hate them." I said, anger boiling inside of me.

"Not all of them are bad. You cannot punish those who don’t even know about it."

"I know." I sighed.

He was right. But I hate rogues. I want them all dead.

"Just think about it." he said before leaving.

Uggg, I don't know. If I let rogues join, they could pose a threat and try to overthrow me. But on the other hand, Daniel is right. Not all of them are that bad. I closed my eyes and raked my hand through my hair. I need coffee. This was going to be a long and exhausting day
