“Sir, are you okay sir?”- I was back from looking at my lock screen

“What are you saying again?”- I ask her again

“What I was saying earlier sir, this is all the documents needed for you to review and sign if you are satisfied and just call me if you needed me to edit something about the documents.”- She said to me and I just keep on nodding to her

“Yes, thank you so much. I will immediately call you if I need anything to change”- I said to her and she left after I’ve said that

Actually I don’t really have the energy to read study and review everything inside this folder and I think I really need to have a dinner to boost my energy.

“Yes sir, you called?”- My secretary once again enter my office

“You should go home now, because I won’t spend another hour here. I can’t think straight. I will go home, but don’t worry I will review the document and I will update you right away”- I said to her, because she was the longest secretary I have

“Okay sir, thank you”- She said and left

I fix the things I needed to bring in my house. After fixing it, I went down to the building where the parking lot is located. It was in the ground floor, while walking I can’t help but to think what the heck should I eat tonight? Or should I call someone to deliver food because I am lazy to think and cook for myself.

“Yes?”- I answered when someone was calling me

“I’m at the parking lot of my building, the ground floor”- I said when she was asking me where I was

“Okay, I’ll wait”- I said and then waited for her to hang up the call

I am playing with my keys while waiting for her. I can’t help but to smile, I can’t believe she was the one calling me and asking of my whereabouts. I really hope it is the start of our new beginning. The last time I check I promise myself that I will do everything even if I need to court her just so she will go back in my life.

“Adelio!”- I was stunned of her voice that I immediately look at where that voice came from

She was running towards me, I don’t know if she was excited or it was something else why she was running. She push me so hard that I fall to ground after I heard a gunshot, I am sure it was a g*n shot. When I look at her she was avoiding the point of a g*n. I can’t believe what I was looking at right now, she is good at defending herself to that full mask man.

“Are you okay?”- She asks me and helped me stood up from the ground

“Yeah, I am”- I can’t compose a word of what to say to her

“I’m sorry I didn’t catch that man, but do you have a CCTV here right? Call the police tomorrow morning and give them the copy of the footage here so that, they will start the investigation right away”- Aella started to talk too much, like she really knew what she was doing

“How did you know that-----“

“I didn’t. I was simply looking for you when I saw that man aiming his g*n to shoot you.”- She simply said to me and looks at me from head to toe

“Are you sure that you are not hurt at all?”- I shook at my head as an answer to her question “Thank God, I was able to stop it”- I can’t help myself but to smile while watching her, worried about me.

“What are you smiling at?”- She asks when she notice my playful smile

“I didn’t know you are still worried about me”- I said and hugged her

“Oww”-That’s when I notice the wound on her left shoulder

“You got shot, let me take you to the hospital”- I said and as I was guiding her to my car

“No, it’s okay. It’s okay, it’s just a scratch”- She simply said when she took a glance in her wound

“Still, I need you to go to the hospital to clean it”- I said to contradict her

“No, don’t worry I know exactly what to do with this. No need to worry about me”- She said to me and took my necktie and tie it on her shoulder

“I was looking for you to----“

“Let’s not talk about business for now, let’s go to my place and clean that wound of yours”- I stopped her for what she was talking about because I can’t help myself but to worry that it may give her infection

“You act like it was my first time on saving you”- She chuckles while saying that when I opened the door for her “Wait, how about my car?”- Why does she needs to worry about that now

“Your car won’t drive itself, don’t worry”- I simply said and started to drive

I can’t help myself but to keep on glancing her, she was not really looking like worried about her wound.

“What?”- She annoyingly ask me

“It was my first time on seeing you like that, defending yourself like you were trained to defend someone your whole life”- I commented to her “And you saved me for the second time around”- I added when I remember the first time she saved me

“Don’t worry about me. I am fine. I was simply looking for you because I still need some of your guidance”- She informed me why she did call earlier.

“I really thought you called me because you miss me”- I said in a low tone, I don’t know if she heard me or anything

“What”- Okay, she didn’t heard me

“Nothing. I was just asking myself if what food should I cook today”- I lied to avoid any arguments between us

“Just call someone for a delivery, don’t bother yourself from cooking when you are already exhausted”- She suggested to me and remove the tie on her shoulder

“How do you know that------“

“I could see through your face”- She said to me exactly when I stopped in front of the house.
