“Here are all the documents you need to sign for the approval of the machineries and medicines ma’am”- He put the folder on my desk

“Are all of what I ask for was written here right? I don’t want to set another meeting just to remind them”- I said. Yeah, I am tough, I don’t want any mistakes about this since I already review and explain everything

“Yes ma’am I’ve put everything, every important detail specially the budget”- She answered me while smiling, and I just nod before I signed everything

“Before you to pass the document, I want to have a copy of that tomorrow morning on my desk please, you may go”- I said and she just nod to me twice before leaving

I check the time when she left my office and it is already 4:30 pm. I need to go if I still want to prepare. I am going to have a date with him because why not? I had a thought of it last night and I think having a date with him just to thank him will not turn out so bad as I was imagined it.

I prepare my things and went directly to the parking lot. After a few minutes of waiting because of the heavy traffic and another few minutes of driving I arrived at my place, I may not sweaty but I feel really tired staying in the company and keep on reading, studying the documents and some presentation for every ward.

I am reviewing every patient’s conditions and every nurse, doctor performances just to make sure that the employee won’t encounter any mal-practice that may end to law suit. Every mal-practice of a doctor may lead to a death and a questioned of the credibility of the company, I don’t want that to happen.

Before I went to the bathroom to freshen up, I still need to find something and that something are my dress and shoes to partner them. At this age I still don’t know how to use make up that’s why I rather use lipstick and powder. If I ever do my own make up, I might throw up after the result.

“Did I make you wait?”- I ask when I arrived at the place. Actually he wanted to pick me up at my place but I rather not to, it will just give him reason to send me home

“No, I just went too early”- He answered and stood up and be gentlemen and then offered me a seat

“Thank you”- I said

“I already ordered a food for the both of us, you don’t mind right?”- He informed me when I attempted to call

“Ahh yeah, it’s okay. Let’s just wait then”- I said, I have trust on his food taste

“And talked?”- He added when I attempted to took my phone from my bag

“Okay, let’s do that”- I said and put back my phone

“So how’s your meeting, is it end according to what you planned?”- He ask me and I just nod as a yes

“Yeah, actually earlier I just signed the papers for the budget and I commanded a copy, just in case”- I said to inform him of what I accomplish, actually I was quite proud of what I did.

“You’ve changed a lot after our separation, how are you in those years?”- He ask me, why does it need to include our separation

“I’m fine.”- I simply answered him

“I don’t mean to pry in your life, I just want to know what was your life when we’re not together anymore. I mean, what do you do back then?”- He continued asking me, I don’t know if he meant well this time

“I went back to school in Russia when my attorney informed me about our annulment, I took the course I want and Dad didn’t complain. Honestly if the company is not at stake right now, I won’t come back here.”- I said to him about the truth of me not wanting to come back in this place

“Really? Good for you, I’m glad you did the thing that makes you happy”- He said while smiling at me

“How about you, how are you after those years?”- I ask him this time, I don’t want to talk much about myself

“Well, I still did take over our company just like Dad wants, and nothing really went exciting those five years separation”- Our conversation stopped when our order arrived

“I ordered you a medium rare stake with potatoes on the side also a red wine. I know you love red wine”- He said as the waiter put our plates

“Your dessert will be right after a few minutes ma’am sir”- The waiter said to informed us

“Thank you”- I said and Adelio just nod to the waiter

“You’re still a snob”- I said as I started to cut my stake

“I’m not, is just that I don’t have anything to say to him”- He said to me

“You could thanked him”- I said as I shook my head and smiling

“I will, after the bill later”- And that makes me chuckled a little

“So, how about you and Amethyst, did it work out?”- I ask him that because of some reasons that sometimes I don’t know if I am wrong or not

“The both of us didn’t work out after our separation”- He said and sounded so. I don’t know how to described him that

“I’m sorry to hear that”- I said because I am indeed sorry, I really thought it will end so perfect for the both of them if I am already out of the picture

“Let’s not talk about that”- He said so we just continue eating our food.
