Amethyst Chavez, she was my closest friend back in high school, actually she was my only friend to be considered as my best friend. I mean everyone wants to her friend and almost every guy was admiring her. I can’t blame them, she was pretty, smart, kind, cheerful and rich. If I were going to compare myself to her, I was just simply nothing and no one aside from my status.

“I wonder how does your lips taste like after drinking red good wine”- He stared at my lips while saying those lines.

“I wonder how it feels like to be kissed by someone”- I laugh as I’ve said that, it was silly. Why are we flirting, ghad!

“Want me to be your first?”- He ask and it makes my eyebrow rise because of what he said

“Wha------“

“Am I interrupting something”- My good friend Amethyst ask at our behind, I forget I was really expecting her

“You didn’t text back, sorry I had a little drink”- I said to her and stood up and kiss her cheek as our way of greeting each other

“No, I should be the one saying sorry. I just drop by because I promise to meet someone you want me to meet but I need to get back to the house, my Dad arrived today so I need to be home early”- She said to me and she seems really sorry

“It’s okay, Adelio meet my friend Amethyst. And Amy meet Adelio. He was a fan of yours”- I teased them both, I saw how they both look as shy as they shook hands

“Stop that Ae, anyway. It was nice to meet you Adelio, I would like to spend more time but I really have to go, maybe next time”- She said and it makes me smile

“So, there’s next time”- I said, I can’t stop fangirling of this two. They look like a match made in heaven

“Silly, okay. I’ll see you at school Ae and it’s nice to meet you. Hope to get to know you, I need to go. Bye”- She said and bid her byes

“Isn’t she adorable?”- I ask him trying to get his reaction

“Stop it”- He said to me and sit again where he was sitting earlier

“What”- I act blind of course

“Continue your food and cake, I’ll take you home”- He said and give me back the plate and fork

“Did you have your dinner?”- I ask as I continue eating

“Are you concern?”- Why does he needs to answer my question with another question

“I’m asking nicely, stop answering my question with another question.”- I said as I shook my head and look at my cake

“You already halved the bottle of wine, aren’t you drunk?”- He ask me

“I’m not”- simply said and finish the cake “So, you don’t need to take me home”- I simply replied and stared at my wine glass

“I would like and I would insist on taking you home, what would your father say if I leave you like this”- He looked at me head to toe

“Why does it concerns my fathers' opinion, besides I can call my driver”- Half of the glass of wine I drink

He didn’t answer but he gives me a ride that night. Gentleman indeed. Well, that makes him more handsome and charismatic in my eyes, it’s really true that a simple gesture can make a girl flatter. As a young girl, I have a young heart, I may be rude but I have a soft heart.

“Thanks for the ride”- I said as I unbuckle my seatbelt. I was about to open the door when he stops me

“Hey, what I ask earlier”- He started talking as if he was waiting for this moment

“Which one?”- I ask as I remove his hand on my wrist

“About me being your first?”- I kind of laugh a little as I realize what he was trying to ask me

“I would like to”- I said to him with a smile, and I am kind of serious for answering him “But I know you have eyes on my friend”- I said and finally opened the door

I was near the gate when he pulled me back, so close to him. He was already hugging me, like he doesn’t want to let go of me.

“This is not the nicest way of asking me for a hug Adelio”- I said, try so hard not to stutter but I didn’t do anything for him to let go of me

“I’ll ask again. Would you like me to be the first guy to kiss you?”- His face was so close to me while saying that. One wrong move and what he would ask might have an answer.

I went back to reality when I was going to my memory lane. What a flashback indeed. I took my phone near as I was lying in my bed, I feel tired. I check my emails if I have receive a message that’s more important of me remembering what I’ve been through since the day I met Adelio. Great! A board meeting next week about the new machineries for the hospital and new medicine supply that was out of stock last month.

And an email that makes me smile.

“An overseas call is expensive Hon”- I said on the other end of the phone

“I know. But I’ve miss you already, you are spending almost a month there”- He complained

“And miss you too. Don’t worry, as soon as I finish all of my work here. I won’t wait an hour just to get back to you”- I said “Don’t forget your responsibilities there, kiss Nahla for me”- I continued

“I will. Take care”- Such a sweet boy

“You too, I’ll talk to you soon”- I said and end the call
