Landing on this land I just knew few of their crime, but learning their status in the company is giving me so many hunches how they manage to smuggle not just hospital machines but also medicines. I can’t accept this, they are using the companies name as their way of smuggling it.

Actually I just knew one of them inside that room. He is a senior doctor now, but back in the days when I was still leaving here, he was the one who operated someone I know and honestly I was so disappointed on knowing that he was part of all the mischiefs in the company. I mean he was respected but then he chooses money.

A few days ago, I ask Dad to send me an email about all the staff in the company, I have trouble on finding a P.I or private investigator on this case so I started on investigating them so the moment I can find a potential P.I it will just take some time for them to finish and for me to go home.

“Want me to help you”- I heard his voice from behind me, my subject was math and I was confused about this. My Dad owns companies but I am so dumb about numbers that is why I don’t want to take over my Dad’s company.

“You? Helping me? For what?”- I ask in confusion

“Nothing, I just want to help you”- He simply replied and took my notebook

“No one is offering for a help without anything in return”- It just how Dad thought me, and I just learn from the best

“Okay, I just simply want to ask you a favor”- He said with his perfect smile. He is really charming, he could get anyone just by smiling.

“And what makes you think that I would grant you a favor?”- My eyebrow rise as I ask him that

“Let me help you about this and if you will have a high marks after, that is the time you decide if you grant me a favor. Deal?”- He was holding my notebook while asking me that

“Okay”- I simply said

“This is simple. In solving rational inequality using case method; first you need to place all nonzero term of the inequality on the left side, like this.”- He started to demonstrate on how to do it

“And lastly use the following properties to find the solution.”- And he showed how to do then show me a solution.

 “Do you understand now?”- He asks me and look at me

“Yeah, I kind of understand now. Thank you”- I said and took my notebook and pen in his hands

I tried some examples in the book and followed what he shows as an example, and in all fairness he was good at explaining things.

“Stop starring”- I can feel his stares in me that’s why I told him that while continuing on solving some examples on the book

“I just want to ask, do you like my gift?”- I stop from thinking about math and look at him

“Ahm, yeah I like it”- I said, of course it’s a lie. I didn’t have the chance to open it. I don’t know why I didn’t open it, I just knew I put it in my jewelry drawer after the party.

“Ahm, then why didn’t you wear it?”- Why is he asking too many questions?

“I am saving it for special occasion. Anyway, thanks for the help. I’ll think about the favor”-I said and took my things. He is older than me, three years older than me. That’s why it was easy for him to help me about this subject, also he was taking marketing.

I was back in the reality when I heard the telephone was ringing, why did I remember that? I stood up from sitting on my work desk and went to the telephone near my kitchen table.

“Yes”- I answered

“Ma’am someone is looking for you here downstairs”- The lobby staff said to me on the other side of the line

“Did you ask who is it?”- I wonder who is looking for me

“He introduce himself as your husband ma’am”

“Okay, I’ll go there.”

I have an idea who is looking for me down there, but of course I still need to make sure if I am right. I fix myself in the mirror to make sure I look decent, it maybe someone on the company trying to pull some tricks for the board to kick me.

“There he was ma’am”- The lobby staff said and point the person sitting in the waiting area in this condominium building

“Thank you”- I started to walk in his direction after saying my thanked to the staff

“What do you want?”- I immediately ask him that, I waited for to turn around since I can’t figure out who is him when his back is facing me.

“I heard you are having trouble in your company”- Adelio, looking so fine on his army green polo-shirt. He has so many improvements in his features, maybe that’s why I can’t figure out on his back feature earlier.

“Yes, in fact I do. And why does it have to concern you?”- I cross my arms as I was saying that

“I am here to help you, just back in the days”- His proud on saying that

“And what is your favor in return for that help, just like back in the days ha?”- I can’t believe I am talking to this guy right now. I mean, last two weeks I didn’t have the chance or guts on talking to him, it was already hard for just to pronounce his name.

“Actually never mind, you are the last person I would ask for help”- I turn my back on him not waiting for an answer.

“Your Dad called, he ask me to help you”- I am still two steps away from him when he said that

“I don’t care, and stop introducing yourself as my husband”

As I’ve said that I went back immediately in my unit. Why would I want his help? But actually thinking on his achievements when I was still leaving here, he was quite good at business, maybe I don’t want him, but his help is quite indeed a good choice for me to learn on how to run a company that’s why I might regret on rejecting his offer.
