Chapter1

Aella Rogue Petrova’s Pov

“Ma’am you are not allowed inside the conference room, this meeting is confidential.”- The lady who is wearing a corporate attire keep pushing me away from the conference room

“You are not allowed to stop me”- I said in reply as I push her away from me, I opened the door and everyone stare.

“I didn’t know that there’s a meeting that I don’t know about”- I said sarcastically to them when I entered the room

“Who are you?”- The gentleman in the front who is presenting something asks me. He’s new because he’s still young.

I just look at them I glare how the attention gets to me. Some we’re shock, I knew from the look of their faces, why do they look so scared. I raise my left eyebrow and I glare as I walk in front of them, I put my purse in the table.

“Aella Rogue Petrova, my father sends me here for three different reasons”- I started as I looked at them

“One, to know who are the serpents in the company. Second, reasons why they smuggle some products and machines, and last to make them pay for ruining the family’s image.”- I explained to them

“A Petrova, using right method for this incident? It’s new”- He said to me

“And also, I am here as an acting President of the company. This meeting is adjourned, leave”- I commanded but no one listens to me

This is harder than I thought. If Dad didn’t plead just for me to fix it, I won’t be going back here. But then, what can I do. I am the only daughter; no one could help him aside from his trusted people. Even the fact that I don’t want to be part of his any business because of some reasons, I still want to help him lessen the burden of his company.

“I guess your superiority doesn’t work here Ms.Petrova”- The one who is responsible for all of this said to me

“Really, if I call my men and put a grenade in this place, won’t you listen?”- I ask him that. This is the reason why I don’t want to be involve in this, no one listens to a lady like me, besides I did not graduate for marketing or anything that involve business. I graduated with flying colours of being a lawyer, I master my degree in London and came back to Russia.

“Okay, perfect timing”- I said as I accept the call from Dad

*In call*

“Perfect timing”- I answered

“Are you there already?”- He ask me that like it was funny, I can still hear his chuckles from the other side of the phone

“Yeah, what would I do for them to listen to me?”- I ask as I turned on the speaker for them to listen of what my Dad would respond for the question of mine

“You are the acting president of the company until I came back and fix this problem in Russia, it’s still up to you.”- It made my eyebrow rise as I heard that

“Then, can I kill them?”- I heard the people inside gasp as I said that

“Well…..”

“You can.”- I felt my lips form into a smirk as I heard that

“Okay, bye Dad”- I end the call as I said that. Didn’t wait for his response

*End of call*

The whole room filled with silence, like I could be deaf just by hearing nothing. What I ask to Dad wasn’t true, I have my degree. I won’t let this bunch of garbage will stain my name and my life. I know for myself that if I started killing someone, I might do it again.

“What with this silence all along?”- I ask them as I sit

“How could you just announce to all of us that you would kill us. We could use it to file a case against you.”- I just simply smiled for what he did

“Why are you so worried? I’m still going find evidences against all of you, so stop frowning everyone, you look terrible.”- I put my phone inside my purse and took out my car keys.

“If you won’t leave, I will”- I said and decided to go out of the office

I leave the company building and drive back to my condo unit. It took me around thirty minutes or so just to arrive; it is indeed far from the company. I still want to rest, I just arrive from Russia and immediately went to company to stop the next meeting for smuggling a hospital machines.

I didn’t expect to turn things like this. I mean, the moment I decided to leave this place, coming back is not an option for me. And then, destiny fate or coincident I don’t care which is which I just know that it brings me back here. To the place where I first found the person I first love, this place where I experience the first of everything.

If I didn’t lose myself I would continue to live here, I won’t go back to Russia with Dad. But then again, my plans won’t turn out the way I wanted. I didn’t graduate like my Dad expects me to graduate at that kind of age, I rush something that I shouldn’t but then I end up the way Dad expected.

I lay down on the bed, feeling every tiredness of every inch of my body, I don’t know how but the tiredness of my body become an hunger of my stomach, but then again this hunger of mine won’t stop me from sleeping. The time here is different from Russia, I still need to adjust at some point even though I used to leave here five years ago.

The next thing I know, I already fall asleep without changing my clothes or eating something. Jetlag really hits different, every time I travel far I always end up feeling heavy head, and even though I was just sitting the whole trip it feels really exhausting. As I get up, it is already nine in the evening I almost slept for five hours.

“Ha, funny”- I said to myself when I wake up, I don’t know why but at the back of my head I remember something.

I went out and drive away. Still don’t know which restaurant I should go, there are bunch of new places here. Since I am already hungry, might be the nearest restaurant will be fine to fill my empty stomach.

“Table for one Ma’am?”- The waiter of Bar Pintxos ask me and I just nod to him as an answer

“This way please”- He said and guided me to the table

He gives me a menu and I choose some food that seems appetizing to my eyes.

“I would like to have Jamon Allioli and Bistec Kitayama, then for my drink I want a red wine. Your oldest wine please”- I said and he just listed what I ordered

“Your wine will be serve later ma’am and your food will take about 20 to 25 minutes”- I just nod as he said and he left.
