Knowing each other

Nad and Ars continued texting each other regularly after they first reconnected at the café. They would often stay up late into the night, texting back and forth about anything and everything.

One night, Nad found herself telling Ars about the painful breakup she had gone through with her ex-boyfriend. She had never talked about it with anyone before, but with Ars, she felt like she could be completely honest.

"I just don't understand why he did what he did," Nad wrote. "We were so good together, or at least I thought we were. And then one day, he just decided he didn't love me anymore. It was like the rug had been pulled out from under me."

Ars responded quickly. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that," he wrote. "But trust me, you deserve so much better than someone who would treat you like that. You're amazing, Nad, and anyone would be lucky to be with you."

Nad felt a warmth spread through her chest as she read Ars's words. She had never felt so seen and understood by someone before. And as they continued talking, she found herself opening up more and more to him.

As they sat across from each other at the Italian restaurant, Nad found herself talking nonstop, telling Ars about her hopes and dreams for the future. She felt like she could tell him anything, and that he would always listen with an open heart.

And as they walked home that night, she felt a sense of contentment she hadn't felt in a long time. They talked about everything from their favorite books to their craziest travel stories, and Nad felt like she was getting to know Ars on a deeper level.

When Ars asked her to be his girlfriend, Nad felt like she had been waiting for that moment her whole life. She smiled up at him, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. "Yes," she said. "I would love to be your girlfriend."

And as they hugged each other tightly, Nad knew that this was the start of something special.
