MILDRED GLÉOPE I went straight ahead to the Lunar calendar to be certain about the occasion for the next day. Gléope. My jaw sagged and my eyes widened at the revelation. Glèope was a fur celebration. Fur celebration had to do with shifting. The furs of every wolf were to be painted with different colors and the claws were polished with acrylic claw polishes of different colors. The Luna was to be in charge of Gléope. How come Enid never gave her a heads-up? How the hell were they ever going to pull this up? Instantly, I swung back and headed straight ahead to Enid's office. After a soft knock, I let myself in. Enid frowned from the pile of work on his desk as his eyes regarded me. Chase equally looked away from the computer before him as his brow rose in silent question.
