The Ashborne Town Doctor arrived very quickly when he had heard that Lord Ashborne had fallen from his horse and was unconscious after spending a while laying in the cold. Lady Ashborne, apparently, was inconsolable and would not leave his side. They had placed him on a couch in the tearoom, and Lady Ashborne was refusing to be out of the room; she was hysterical, and Doctor Haggard had brought a sedative for his ladyship, as well.
