We were pacing around since it was only a few minutes now that the twenty-four hour timer will be over. I had no idea what to do next but I had decided to be strong.
“Doctor, what’s the situation?” I asked the doctor who came rushing again. He didn’t reply but only went inside. We all were standing here worried wanting to know about how things were going.
Soon, the nurse came out and she had a big smile on her face.
“She’s awake. The mother and child both are well.” The nurse announced and it felt like all my prayers were answered. Such a huge burden was lifted off my chest that I couldn’t tell.
