When I came back from a tough day, I knew Emerald was angry with me. I did try my level best to make her forgive me for not replying to her texts.
I was simply having too many meetings and I didn’t have time to respond to her texts. I had decided to reply to her while in the car but I ended up having a conversation with Mister Augustin. He wanted to know about Gabriel’s situation.
It did take a long conversation to update him that his son was now in a better position. I didn’t reveal anything about his little fling over here. I was just hoping it wouldn’t hurt Lonnie, though.
