Miranda and I enjoyed a nice lunch before deciding to go shopping. Miranda was driving this time while I took a short nap. I was a bit sleepy and power naps always helped.
When we got down at the mall, my phone rang. I let out a small yawn and answered the phone without looking at who it was.
“Hello,” I muttered, recovering my sleepy voice.
“Were you sleeping?” The voice asked instead of greeting me. I recognised the voice as Aiden’s and I was indeed correct.
“A small nap, yes,” I told him and he hummed.
“Did you have your lunch, already?” He inquired and I hummed. It was weird that he was asking me so many questions and that, too, like these.
