As I walked into the park, I hugged my coat tighter around me. It had gotten a bit chilly and I had to keep myself warm. I felt a lot better coming out here. I sat on a seat and sighed in relief.
Feeling the fresh cold breeze on my face, I felt free. For so long, I’ve been just holding onto things that didn’t want to be held by me. I just felt too done and exhausted with things.
I didn’t realise when and how tears were falling freely down my face and I was so absorbed in my pain to notice anyone near me. I had let go of everything.
