I turned in the bed and didn’t find another warm body next to me. I thought she must’ve woken up so I closed my eyes, sleeping again. After a while, I smelled some burning smell and my eyes opened.
I immediately got out of bed and rushed outside to see Emerald in the kitchen. It was a complete mess and couldn’t even be called a kitchen anymore.
After I talked to a very crying Emerald, I came to know that she was jealous of me praising Samantha. I can’t believe that she got jealous over this. I was used to Samantha taking care of everything but didn’t think it would bother an arrogant person like Emerald.
