It was about evening and Emerald was shifted into an ICU. Dad asked me to go and get freshened up and even check the house conditions. I was sure Miles and Alvin were taking good care of it.
I still needed to freshen up and talk about everything that occurred at the apartment. This was not a way that should ever occur.
“I’ll take your word but I’ll wait till Hayden arrives,” I told him and he nodded. By the time I waited, I texted Patrick and asked him to go and check up on the apartment. I called Robert down here so I could be quick on my time.
