Ryan’s Pov
Earlier, my brothers had scolded me terribly after which they discarded me since Evelyn wasn’t my mate. I stayed unperturbed since I wasn’t really bothered about the issues relating to mates and all of that.
While they discussed and showed unnecessary fear and worries about Evelyn, I drifted off in my personal thoughts. There was every tendency that she would be planning to leave, especially because of the issues surrounding her and her supposed step brothers.
I couldn’t say that I was bothered, but deep down my heart, I wasn’t excited either. Thoughts of waking up to her absence made goosebumps make way to my skin and somehow, my wolf wasn’t pleased about it.
“She is not a mate! Mates doesn’t exit”, I said to myself after which I laid down on the bed to take a nap.
